How does online interior design work?
How long does the design process take?
The design process usually takes 3 weeks once the design brief is fully complete.
The length of the process will depend on how quickly you respond to your designer, so keep an eye on your inbox and dashboard for updates to keep the process running smoothly!
If you're in a rush, our Express Service could be perfect for you. your finished design will be with you in just 10 working days, you can add this on for £75 per room at the checkout! Just remember, we need all your brief information complete so we can get going, this process is complete after your first call with your designer.

What information will my designer need?
Before the process fully gets going we need you to compete your design brief. This is a series of questions to get to know you, your home and your style preferences better.The design brief included the following there key elements we need from you .
1. Measurements
It may seem obvious but we'll need measurements of the room so we can select products and items that will fit your space. Please make sure you take measurements yourself and not estate agents floor plans, which are often inaccurate! We do however accept architects' plans.
We make it as easy as possible with a handy little guide.
2. Photos of the room
We need you to take pictures from every angle of your space so that your designer can get a good understanding of how you're currently using the room. this will also help them come up with innovative solutions for your needs
3. Inspirational Images
Take some time to research what you like and save some pictures of rooms that give is a flavour of your personal style. Use platforms like Houzz, instagram, Pinterest to collect images from and then share them with us.

How will I communicate with my designer?
You will be assigned with a dedicated professional interior designer; who's excited to bring you vision to life! Together, you'll have a fun and relaxed video chat where you can dive into all the details of your project.
Your designer will listen to you ideas, share their expert tips, and start creating a design that's just right for you. It's all about working together to make space as amazing as you've imagined.
Can I purchase furniture through My Designer Room?
Yes, you can explore familiar brands and popular retailers. Enjoy up to 20% off with our exclusive trade discounts from selected partners when you make your purchases through us. In addition you are free to buy items independently using our recommendations. We provide options to suit your preferences.
How soon can I start?
Straight away! Once you have uploaded all the information to your design brief, we can match you with your designer.
If you're a returning customer and have requested to work with your previous designer, there might be a short wait while they finish other projects they're working on.
If you're in a rush, our Express Service could be perfect for you. your finished design will be with you in just 10 working days, you can add this on for £75 per room at the checkout!
Is your service available for clients outside the Uk?
Inform us of your location during the consultation, and we'll tailor recommendations to include furniture suppliers within your country.
